Summer Collegiate Baseball Is Here

The Golden State Collegiate Baseball League (GSCBL) entering into its first year of operation has 7 highly competitive teams for the 2013 season.

The GSCBL is committed to bringing a first class wooden bat baseball experience to every franchises local community. We exist to advance collegiate baseball prospects towards their futures of becoming a professional baseball player, while providing them the structure and guidance to return to their respective colleges. In addition it’s a goal of the league to present a wholesome, safe family oriented atmosphere for fans to enjoy high level competition by athletes who exhibit a positive role model for children in the community.

The GSCBL brings highly competitive collegiate baseball to mid-sized communities throughout the West while featuring affordable family entertainment. The GSCBL will have franchises in Alameda, Atwater, Auburn, Pleasanton, San Francisco, San Jose and Carson City, Nevada. These franchises are the backbone of the Golden State Collegiate Baseball League and its foundation now and in the future.

All teams affiliated with the GSCBL showcase some of the top talent in the country. As a result, future Major League stars will grace the diamonds of the GSCBL each season, bringing excitement to their team’s communities while entertaining baseball fans and families each summer.

The GSCBL will be formed by a single 7 team division which each franchise playing a 24 game league schedule. There will be a seasoning ending championship Tournament to crown the GSCBL champion during the last week of July and first week of August.
